You may be aware about the WPC invitation to submit recommendation on the Radio Spectrum dated, 6th of January 2021 vide notification No.T-11012/18/2020-Conf, inviting comments for “Road map for use of Radio Frequency/Spectrum in India during next 10 years”.
You are also aware that ARSI is the only member society of the IARU-R3, which is constantly working with the recommendation to the Ministry of Communication, Govt. of India., to harmonize our band allocation and emissions with the IARU-R3 recommendations.
In response to the WPC notification, ARSI has submitted a comprehensive document to WPC by email yesterday which is attached to this email for your reference.
The document was put together by us, with several inputs from our Chairman Gopal VU2GMN, Nitin VU3TYG (Secretary, AMSAT India) and inputs from a few ARSI members.
Further to the submission by email as required by the notification, ARSI representative in Delhi VU2VAB, Arya has been in touch with the WPC officials regarding this submission.
VU2PSQ, Air Vice Marshall Prashanth Karkhare, an ARSI member, who is currently posted in Delhi took time to meet Sr. Deputy Wireless Advisor, “#0000ff” who is also the chairman of this initiative and other senior officers at the WPC and handover a hard copy of our submissions to them.
