Documents required while applying online for ASOC Exam.
1. Adhar card - attested below 1 MB PDF copy for upload (ID proof )
2. Pan card - attested below 1 MB PDF copy (for applicants under 18 - one of the parents’ Pan card no. and its copy is compulsory).
3. Scanned copy of a recent, passport size colour photo of the applicant (JPEG - 50 KB or below & 300 X 300 pixels, with no name or signature on it).
4. Signature (Crop the picture of the signature and create a JPEG - 50 KB and 300 X 300 pixels copy to upload. No name or attestation is required.)
5. Nationality Certificate (below 1 MB PDF copy required) - Click here to download the form.
6. Proof of Birth (below 1 MB PDF copy of birth certificate, attested by a Govt. Gazetted Officer).
7. NOC from a parent (below 1 MB PDF copy attested by a Govt. Gazetted Officer). This is applicable only to candidates below 18 years - click here to download the form.
8. Scanned and attested below 1 MB PDF copies of proof of present address and permanent address (any one of Aadhar card/Election card/Driving License/Ration Card/Electricity Bill/Bank Passbook/Telephone bill/Rent agreement etc. accepted.
9 In the column for location, kindly give it in DMS mode (Degree Minutes Seconds). If you are using a Latitude and Longitude finder programme, the result can be converted into DMS using a convertor programme like https://share.google/zQJir4zro7jp38Igu.
After all boxes are filled, an applicant may have to download the entire application, take print out, sign on all the papers and again upload it.
After signed copy is submitted, you will get a notification that your application is under scrutiny.
If after a few days (mostly within two weeks, what you see is a reverted notification in your Saral Sanchar page, it means that some items you have presented are not as per the directives given. Open the application form again and find the item and follow the official instructions received and resubmit the form again. Every time you may have to download the summary of the application form submitted, sign it and upload. There are no time or chances limit for corrections.
In some cases, instead of a 'verified' statement, it would be the hall ticket that you get as sign of accepting your application form. If you miss the given chance, you may have to apply again paying the required fees. It is not obligatory that the hall ticket be given any number of days in advance. An applicant is requested to keep looking out for the status every day evening (preferably after 10 days) so that he/she gets the notification in this regard as early as possible.
Examination fee payment gateway will be opened automatically during the filling up process.
Kindly keep the originals of all those papers you have uploaded. When you appear at the examination centre, along with the hall ticket and Adhar card (must) you may have to produce these originals also, if asked for.

Please note:
* Height in centimetres, skin colour and identification mark of the applicant also are included in the application form.
* Passport/Visa details compulsory for applicants from abroad.
* Applicants are free to choose any Monitoring station in India, for the exam. Applicants are not permitted to change the examination centre, once opted.
* Temporary address is not necessary, unless the applicant is temporarily occupied somewhere.
* Those documents requiring attestation shall be attested by a Government (Central/State) Gazetted Officer or as recommended elsewhere in these rules and regulations and also digitally signed by the applicant and that produced in PDF.
* Read clearly all the instructions given else where here in this blogspot under Instructions and go step by step as illustrated in the Users Manual.
* Give reference to the applicant’s own registered email ID and phone no., while applying.
Usually, it may take a few days for the Officers to complete the application verification. Kindly check your status to see 'Verified'. In case, there are errors, they will certainly make a note. In such cases, the Office is found to be accepting repetition of the full procedure.
